Lion Mosaic from Nebuchadnezzar II's Babylon
A mosaic of glazed bricks depicting a lion that formed part of a larger facade to one of Nebuchadnezzar II's buildings in Babylon. It is on display at the British Museum. The British Museum in downtown London us dedicated to human history and culture and has about 8 million works in its permanent collection.
